Jen
Starr is the Lead Creative Designer for Canvas Concepts and a fully Ranger
Certified Instructor. She was the 2007 Design Team Coordinator for Ranger
Industries, has had several signature product lines with Zsiage and is a
“Primadonna” for Prima Marketing. She has also recently become an Endorsed
Instructor for Tattered Angels as well as a member of their Design Team. Her
projects have been featured in several publications in the US and Europe
including the “Ink Essentials” book.
Jen has been scrapbooking since she married her wonderful husband, Mike, in
1997. She has 2 children (7 year old Ryan and 5 year old Maya) who are now the
main subject of most of her work.
Based on Jen’s fine art background, her classes as well as her personal work
focus on artistic techniques and are alive with color! She has taught
scrapbooking and stamping technique classes at stores as well as crops and large
events all over the US and regularly in Europe and Canada. She has also been a
feature instructor on several crafting cruises and taught at events such as
Memories Expos, CKU, CHA, CKC, Bonanza in England, several times at Scrap-A-Ganza
in the Netherlands and at ScrapEvent in Sweden. Jen also regularly demos inking
and stamping techniques at trade shows such as CHA, Sue Gilman and SMAC in Paris
for Ranger, Canvas Concepts and Distributors.
She loves to bring her scrapbooks out of the albums and up on the walls to
live with more openly every day. Most importantly, she loves the versatility
stamps bring to her work…the creative options have endless possibilities,
especially when adding inks and paints!
Jen absolutely loves to teach her students to use their creativity and help
them think outside the box. It makes her so happy to be able to share her
skills, knowledge and love of the art of scrapbooking and stamping with so many
others.

Holtz’s Line of Distress products can customize any paper
crafting project to the look and color scheme YOU want to
