Cat Album
This 20-page 3-ring album is similar to the Doggone Cute Album we just offered - it will hold your favorite cat pictures and a little critter to boot !  In addition to regular scrapbook pages, you will learn two ways to put more pictures in your album:  a matchbook page with an acrylic cat attached and an envelope page that holds three inserts; both these allow you to add 30 or more pictures to your album!  I think you will find this a fun album to make and enjoy for many years plus give you an opportunity to work with layouts for this unique size album.  While the sample is beige, the actual album will be a dark brown corduroy which retails for $20 and is included in the price of this class.  The critter is free!  Please bring  your usual class kit, an Exacto knife, ruler, bone folder, lots of adhesives to include:  dry, foam, liquid, glue stick, glue dots, red-line tape and Diamond Glaze.  A lunch would also be a good idea.  Friday, 9-12-08 or Saturday, 9-13-08  $75 (includes $20 album) Sueb

Take Note
As scrapbookers, we're always taking note of what's going on around us. We write down what we see, how we feel, what day it is, who's with us. We're always recording. Always watching. That's why it makes sense to always have a notebook on hand. In this three-hour class, we'll create three notebooks for you to carry around and record your thoughts or sketches. The first notebook is designed like a reporter's notebook to fit in your hand. Flip over the cover and the world sees your creative talents.  We'll use Jenni Bowlin paper for our covers along with a transparency of the letter of your first
name. We'll fill the inside with more paper from Jenni Bowlin and add butterflies to the inside front and inside back covers. We'll put the whole thing together with the Bind-It-All. The second and third
notebooks will utilize your favorite 4x6 photos as the front and back covers. Your inside will be filled with regular lined paper and grid paper. We'll align the whole thing and put it together with a method called perfect binding. Toss 'em in your purse and you'll be ready to jot down all sorts of notes in style! What to bring: Two 6x4 horizontal photos, two 4x6 vertical photos, your basic tool kit, an X-acto knife, cutting mat and a couple heavy books or a brick if you have one. You might also want to bring decorative scissors and some various inks. Saturday, July 12, 1-4pm, $25 Nancy
