Witch Way - Kid's Class - JUST ADDED
 We are offering a kid's Halloween class on for ages 7 to 12.  In this class we'll be giving "A Little Golden Book" a makeover..........and end up with a fun Halloween mini-album!  This album can capture many years of Halloween costumes or, if desired, can be used for one year.  It can be displayed during the season for many years to come.  There are ten pages - two outer and eight inner.  I think girls will enjoy the vivid colors and all the bling!  Students need to bring good cutting scissors.  Sunday October 24 from 1:00-3:30. Halloween in Wonderland - JUST ADDED
This is absolutely gorgeous paper from Graphic 45 and I had fun making this album and I think you will too!  It's made using an old record album with one sliding insert (where a record normally goes).  Because the paper is so pretty, I decided to make lots of pockets with plenty of inserts for your pictures.  This way you still get the beauty of the paper but you also have places to place pictures (as many as 30).  You have to come in to see this album to capture the beauty of the paper!  The class is being offered on either Friday, October 8 or Saturday the 9th and I've scheduled five hours, 10am to 3pm but I believe you can complete the project in three!  Please bring:  Class kit to include the following adhesives:  dry, liquid, Scor-Tape or Red-Line Tape, plenty of foam pop tape; also bring your Crop-a-Dile and "Frayed Burlap" ink pad if you have them.  Fee: $44.  Instructor:  Sueb  0818

Copic Club - JUST ADDED
By popular request for our Copic fans, we have a great way to help you build your skills and your marker collection with a fun monthly class!  Each month, I am choosing 3 colors we haven’t used in class before and we’ll color a series of images and discuss some useful tips and tricks and a few advanced techniques.  There will be no completed projects however, we’ll build a journal using the pages from these classes for you to have as a reference on the techniques and color combinations.  This month, we’ll be using Reds- R00, R02, and R05- the class fee INCLUDES these Ciao markers (so no need to purchase prior to class).  Please bring your other Copic Markers (secondary colors used in the example pages are- E33, E35, E37, YG03, YG06, C1) including your 0 Colorless Blender and 100 Black.  We’ll also discuss shadowing this month and I’ll provide a handy guide for class attendees. Please Note: If you already have these markers, please bring them to class with you and you will be able to swap the marker from the class kit for another in-stock color. Basic Copic Markers - JUST ADDED
What’s all the fuss about these markers?  Come join us to find out!  You’ll learn the basics about Copic markers—decoding the color codes, tips about paper and ink and learn blending and fun coloring techniques that will make your next project a masterpiece!  A Copic marker hand color chart and Copic color wheel will be provided. You will leave with 3 completed projects and lots of other colored images to use on other projects (including scrapbook pages!).  All the stamping is done for you so you can focus on coloring and assembling your projects. Please bring the following supplies to complete the cards we’ll be making with our colored creations:  micro-tipped scissors, adhesive, and foam squares. You may bring your own markers, but please label them so they don’t get mixed up with the class markers. Domestic  Goddess
I'm so excited about this album; I've been working on it for over a year!  I've taken the Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess line of paper and have made a mini album that fits in a vintage purse.  Actually I've really made it a "memory box" in a purse; in addition to the mini album, it contains personal items that bring back so many wonderful memories of the "Domestic Goddesses" in my life - my Grandmothers, my Mother, my Mother-In-law, and all my Aunts!  For example, I put my Grandmother's coin purse and can remember her carefully opening it and giving me a penny or a nickel to go buy candy at the neighborhood store (walked all by myself too!).  I've also put a watch, glasses, lipstick holder, etc. in my purse.  You can fill yours too with items from the Domestic Goddesses in your life.  The class fee is $55 plus the cost of the purse you pick.  You can purchase a vintage purse (I've left 15 at the store for you to pick from); they range in price from $10 - $20 and they vary in size, shape, texture and color;  OR  you can use your own vintage purse.  If you buy one of mine, a vintage glove, hankie and post card are included.  If you use your own purse, these items will not be provided but your album price will be reduced from $55 to $50.  If you have your own glove, hankie and post card but you want to buy a purse, then leave the ones in the purse with the clerk at the front desk and pay just $50 for the class plus the price of your purse.  This is setup on "a first come, first pick" basis -- so come in soon to register and pick out a purse; please take the purse home with you but remember to bring it to class!   There are five sections in the album:  flirtatious; cooking; sewing; gardening; and laundry with some vintage embellishments.  I've allowed five hours for the class but I think it will take you only three??  I'm offering the class on Friday, September 10 from 10:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday, September 12 from noon to 5:00pm.  Fee:  $50-55 plus the price of the purse or bring your own.  Instructor:  Sueb 0801

September In the House
September means back to school and this month’s In The House has all the warm colors of fall!  The layout features (2) classic black silhouettes of children and 6 different tickets (my new favorite embellishment) for recording this year’s grade, teacher and school. The page also has some gender specific journaling boxes, so you will be customizing your layout for boys and/or girls.  Want to know a secret?  The bottom half of the right hand page is actually a pocket to hold samples of your child’s school work…or report cards…or other ephemera from throughout the year!  Photos:  (2) vertical format 4”x6” and  (5) horizontal wallets.  Supplies:  You will need your own ink for distressing. I used a combination of Powder Puff Mango Mai Tai and Amaretto and black ink.   Regular class kit to include pop dots, glue dots, wet and dry adhesive, red line or Scor-tape. Note: You do not need to have a shadow box to register for an “In The House” class to create the (2) page layout. Seaside Memories Shadow Box

“Our memories of the ocean will linger on…” is one of the many themed quotes you will find on the beautiful die cut paper that forms the background of this dimensional project.  Designed to hang on the wall, the shadow box holds a selection of seashells and sand dollars along with not one, but two, removable mini albums!  Techniques include dry embossing, stamping, tearing, and inking.  You will need to bring (1) vertical format 4”x6” print, and  (11) index prints for the actual shadow box.  The mini albums you are creating can be filled later with the photos of your choice. Please bring (1) 4”x6” photo to be die cut for the tag inside the sandcastle.  I will be supplying a selection of seashells, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. In addition to the regular class kit, you will need to bring:  Scor-tape or red line ¼” tape, super strength gel glue dots, Zip Dry  (or other clear drying flexible liquid adhesive), scissors, brown distressing ink (I used Powder Puffs “Amaretto”), 1/16” foam pop dots, and a Crop-a-dile (or you can share the one at the store). August Boy/Girl Layouts
Actually August's layout (kit only) can be used for any of your memory pages even though I designed them for your Boy and/or Girl albums!  I've used the new Kaiser Craft paper for both layouts.  One is all about bugs........bright and cheery!  There is a ton of cutting out of "critters" BUT I've done ALL the cutting for you (yes, I'll leave a tip jar at the front desk - haha!).  Lots of dimension on this layout.  I also included leftover papers so you can design the back of these pages and get four pages from the two!!  This one is well worth the cost.  The other layout also involves "critters" but they are cute sweet birds.  This layout also requires lots of cutting BUT, again, I've done that too (I will accept all "meds" to take care of the arthritis!).  Hope you are enjoying these layouts; I've completed two albums this past year just by using my layouts!  Kit price:  $20; designed by Sueb 0728
